Mk 11:27-12:17

• v30: John's baptism--fulfill all righteousness (Mt 3:15);
• The wicked tenants:
• v3: seized him, beat him and sent him away empty-handed;
• v4: struck the man in the head and treated him shamefully;
• v5: killed him; some were beat, some were killed;
• v8: kill the son, and threw him out of the vineyard;
• Their punishment:
  
• v9: tenants were killed and the vineyard given to others;
• v12: they (the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders) knew the parable was meant to be against them; the got the message, but they did not repent; quite on the contrary, their heart was hardened and wanted to arrest Jesus on the spot;
• v15: Jesus knew their hypocrisy;
• v17: give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's
