Lk 4:31-5:11

• v32: Jesus' preaching is markedly different from the rest, because his teaching had authority
• v34,41 - demons know Jesus, and Jesus has authority and power over them;
• v44 - Jesus preached at Galilee--his home region;
• Jesus preached on Peter's boat, then guide Peter to catch boat-loads of fish; Jesus cares about Peter because Peter worked all night but didn't catch any fish;
• Peter
• obedient (v5): because you say so...
• humble (v8): I am a sinful man...
• with conviction (v11): left everything and followed Jesus.
