Mk 2:13-3:6

• Levi sitting at the tax collector's booth; Jesus called Levi to follow him;
• Jesus dined at Levi's home (v15), where there were many tax collectors;
  
• Jesus came to call the sinners (v17);
• v19: Jesus is the one people are waiting for; while he is with them it's time to celebrate; when the day comes for his departure, that's when they should fast;
• vv21-22: this implies it's the beginning of a new era; from the start Jesus is declaring his Messiahship; false Christs nowadays follow the same path; truth itself is exclusive--only one can be true;
  
• Lord of the Sabbth; he's the Lord of all, he is the Word of God, he is God;
