Mk 7:1-23

• v3-4: traditions of the Jews--not just for sanitary purposes, it's a religious ceremony as well;
  
• v6: their hearts are far from me;
  
• v7: they worship me in vain (Isa 29:13);
  
• v8-9: you let go of the commends of God and are holding on to the traditions of men, and have a fine way to explain it => seek the original meanings of traditions; return to God, return to God's words!
• v15: unclean -> not goes into but comes out of a man;
• v23: all these evils come from inside men's hearts:
• sexual immorality
• theft
• murder
• adultery
• greed
• malice
• deceit
• lewdness
• envy
• slander
• arrogance
• folly
