Mt 24:29-51

• vv29-51: Signs of the End of the Age (continued)
• immediately after the distress of those days (vv29-31)
  
• the sun will be darkened
• the moon will not give its light
• the stars will fall fromthe sky
• the heavenly bodies will be shaken (Isa 13:10, 34:4)
  
• the sign of Son of Man will appear in the sky (v30)
  
• all the nations will mourn

• the Son of Man coming on the cloud of the sky

• and great glory

• its twigs get tender

• Son of Man is near when
• you see all these signs
• Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away (v35)

• only the Father knows (v36)
• As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man

• eating
  
• drinking
• marrying
• giving in marriage
• one will be taken and the other left
• of two men in the field
• of two women grinding with a hand mill
