- Paul in Corinth
- met Aquila and Priscilla,
- both came from Rome, Italy
- Aquila was a tentmaker
- so was Paul
- Paul stayed and work with them
- during weekdays
- at weekend (Sabbath) he reasoned in the synagogue
- the Jews opposed and became abusive
- Paul left the synagogue and went next door
- to the house of Titius Justus
- from then on he preached to Gentiles
- God encouraged Paul in a vision that he had at night
- Do not be afraid;
- keep on speaking,
- do not be silent.
- For I am with you, and
- no one is going to attack and harm you,
- because I have many people in this city
- Paul stayed there for 1.5 years
- Paul was brought to the court
- Gallio was the proconsul of Achaica
- he would not hear the case (threw the case out)
- so they beat Paul in front of the court
- Paul left Corinth for Syria
- Aquila and Priscilla went along
- first they arrived in Ephesus
- Paul reasoned with the Jews in the synagogue
- Paul left Ephesus for Caesarea and Jerusalum
- this ended Paul's second missionary trip
