Lk 23:13-43

• Jesus before Pilot
  
• Pilate wanted to release Jesus (vv16, 20, 22), but the crowd shouted against it
• in 'one voice' they cried out, 'away with this man!'
• they kept shouting 'Crucify him!'
• with loud shouts they insistently demanded Jesus be crucified
  
• eventually their shouts prevailed;
• Pilate surrendered Jesus to their will;
• Jesus Crucified
• with 2 criminals
• one insulted him
• the other ask Jesus to remember him in his kingdom
• Jesus answer today he will be with him in paradise
