• Peter disowns Jesus before the rooster crows

• Man, I don't know what you're talking about!
• Jesus turned and looked straight at Peter, and he went outside and wept bitterly
• the guards mocked Jesus;
  
• At daybreak, Jesus was taken to
  
• the council of
• elder of the people
• chief priests
• teachers of the law
• If I tell you, you will not believe;
• Jesus admitted he is Son of God;
• then Jesus was taken to Pilate
• Jesus admitted he is the king of Jews;
• then Jesus was taken to Herod
• who rules over Galilee
• Herod heard of Jesus and had been wanting to see him for a long time
• he hoped to see him perform some miracle, but Jesus performed none;
  
• Jesus did not answer his questions
• Herod's soldiers mocked Jesus;
  
• then Jesus was taken back to Pilate
• that day Pilate and Herod became friends--before this they were enemies
