Mt 4:12-25

Meimei got the flu. She's coughing and has a runny nose. For a 4-month-old it's quite unusual because she is supposed to get the immune from mother. She doesn't have a fever, though. Thank God. Also, Gege is steadily getting better.


v12 - Return. Jesus returned to his hometown for some time at the news of John's imprisonment. He didn't move forward right away. Draw back and deliver a more powerful punch. And prayer must be an essential part of, if not entirely, the purpose.

v17 - Jesus preach the same message as John, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

v18-22 - Discipleship had been part of Jesus's ministry from the beginning!

v23-25 - Jesus preached and he healed. He helps people first spiritually but also physically.
