- vv29-34: Jesus healed the two blind man.
- v31: do not let the crowd to hinder you from coming to Jesus.
- 21:1-11: Jesus entered Jerusalem.
- v9: Hosanna (a Hebrew expression meaning 'Save!' which became an exclamation of praise)
- v12-17: At the Temple, Jesus:
- drove out the murchants and shoppers and
- overturned the tables of the money changers
- overturned the benches of those selling doves (v12)
- gave them the reason for doing so (v13)--'house of prayer' (Isa 56:7) cannot be a 'den of robbers' (Jer 7:11)
- healed the blind and the lame (v14)
- responded to the questions of chief priests and the teachers of the law (v16)--From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise (Ps 8:2)
- v17: Jesus left Jerusalem and rested in Bethany for the night.
- v18: in the next morning he returned to Jerusalem again.
- v19: condemned the fig tree
- v21: faith is the key. Believe, and you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer (v22).
