Mt 15:1-28

Today is Gege's birthday. He's 3. He knows that means he's a big boy now (da-hai-zi), and he shouldn't be carried but walk by himself, and he is ready for preschool. He's a good kid and we love him very much. May God protect him and bless him all the days of his life. Guide him to walk in the Way of God and do not stray from it. Lead him not into temptation but deliver him from the evil one (Mt 6:13). Amen.

Meimei slept through the night last night. We are so happy (especially Wife). Hallelujah.

• v6: the Pharisees nullify the word of God for the sake of the tradition. Jesus call them 'hypocrites.'
• v9: they worship in vain. What a tratredy! They thought they are righteous but God regards it in vain.
• v17-20: out of the heart come evil thoughts, and that makes a man 'unclean' (not what he eats or unwashed hands).
• v21: Canaanite woman in the region of Tyre and Sidon.
• v27: she believed inspite of being considered inferior, and her faith was 'great.' Just believe God regarless of how others regard you. It is how you're regarded by the Almighty One that is important.
