- David ate the consecrated bread when he was hungry;
- priests desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent;
- one here is greater than the temple;
- v7: they are innocent, and should not have been condemned; Jesus is not asking forgiveness--there're nothing to be forgiven because they are innocent.
- v8: Son of Man is the Lord of the Sabbath
- v12: to do good on the Sabbath is lawful.
- v14: the Pharisees are contemplating murder here; yet one the Ten Commandments is 'Thou shall not murder'. Maybe they thought Jesus has violated the laws and is right to execute him. But if so why do they have to 'plot'?? I think it's them who violated the laws.
- v20: 'A bruised reed he will bot break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
