Mt 1:1-2:12

The first day! We almost missed it. With two young children, this will be a challenge. Priority! Thanks to wife's cooperation, we take turns for the 30 minute devotion after dinner.

I tried to memorize today's verses in Matthew before. What strikes me today is that the faith that passed from generation to generation. What's holding the children from going astray? They are the Chosen People. But aren't we, too? I pray that God will also choose my son and my daughter, and their offsprings.

Immanuel. God with us. What a wonderful concept. Jesus' birth is first a reminder that God is with us.
